Apotheosis, the latest release from Rotten Filthy, represents both a fresh start and a return to form for the band. Featuring a revamped lineup, this EP brings a more aggressive and focused sound, combining elements of Death and Thrash Metal. The band’s approach is raw, direct, and relentless, drawing influence from legends like Slayer, Kreator, old Sepultura, Entombed, and Dismember.

Lyrically, the EP incorporates spiritual and cultural themes, exploring Afro-Brazilian religions and neo-pagan traditions. The EP was recorded at Timbra Studios, with production, mixing, and mastering handled in-house, ensuring a raw yet polished sound that captures the essence of the band's ferocious live energy.
