Florida five-piece CAPSTAN — Anthony DeMario [vocals], Joe Mabry [guitar], Harrison Bormann [guitar], Andrew "Boz" Bozymowski [bass, vocals], and Scott Fisher [drums] — have shared the visualizer for their cover of Joji's "Glimpse of Us." Watch it below!
The rockers slow things down and show off a more musically contemplative and downright pretty side of their skills with this cover. It's a soft and sweet version of the pop song that builds to an epic crescendo. It's unexpected — and that's what make it such a rewarding listen.
"While Capstan is a band whose members regularly enjoy good pop music, there had never been a song that resonated with us as if it could be one of our own, until 'Glimpse of Us' by Joji," the group states. "From the lyrical subject matter to the use of some uncommon chords for its genre, 'Glimpse of Us' felt like too perfect a fit to ignore. Adding some of our signature dynamic shifts and crescendos, we think the vibe of this cover perfectly matches some of Capstan's best, and fan favorite songs. We hope everyone enjoys listening to it as much as we did covering it!"
Capstan released their second album SEPARATE in 2021 via Fearless Records.
