NASTY SAVAGE, the pioneering American thrash metal band formed in 1983, is back with their long-awaited new album 'The Jeopardy Room,' set for release on October 11, 2024 via FHM Records. Recorded at the legendary Morrisound Recording Studio in Tampa, Florida, and produced by Jim Morris — renowned for his work with Savatage and Crimson Glory — the album marks the band’s first full-length release in 20 years.
Led by the infamous "Nasty" Ronnie Galletti, NASTY SAVAGE was instrumental in shaping the Florida death metal scene, inspiring bands like Death and Obituary. Known for Ronnie’s outrageous stage presence, which included smashing television sets over his head, the band quickly gained a reputation for their unpredictable and high-energy live shows.
Their second album, 'Indulgence' (1987), featuring the hit single "XXX," solidified their status as thrash metal pioneers. After releasing three albums and an EP, the band disbanded in 1989, only to reunite briefly in 2004 for 'Psycho Psycho.' Nasty Savage reformed again in 2016, and since then, they’ve been thrilling fans with occasional live performances while working on new material.
