Varials Announce New Album "Scars For You To Remember" Band Shares Video For New Song ".50"

Philadelphia quintet VARIALS — Mitchell Rogers [vocals], Mike Foley [bass], James Hohenwarter [guitar], Shane Lyons [guitar], and Sean Rauchut [drums] — have announced their new album Scars For You to Remember. The metallic juggernaut is their third long player and it will arrive on October 14 via Fearless Records. Pre-order it here.

The band has shared the video for the new single ".50." Watch it below!

Here, the band cranks the knobs to 11 from start to finish. The utterly ferocious track will leave you exhausted, in a heap on the floor, clutching your chest, and gasping for breath. It's really that good and that intense. With rapid fire riffing, guttural screams that could double as the soundtrack to your worst night terrors, and thunderous percussive thrust, the band clamps down on the jugular and never lets go.

"'.50' is the perfect middle ground of where Varials has been, but where we're going from a heavy aspect. It's balls-to-the-wall chaos, but also controlled in a way I don't think we’ve achieved before," shares Rogers. Balance occurs in the midst of extremes. Varials seamlessly alternate between moments of crushing power and melodic poise, unlocking harmony in the middle of opposite poles. The band continues to sharpen this signature style with searing intensity, uncontainable energy, and uncompromising creativity. They've carefully cultivated this sound over the years. The band attracted a devout fanbase with Pain Again [2017] and In Darkness [2019]. The latter yielded "Romance," which amassed 3 million Spotify streams and counting. Of the title track, Decibel raved, "Varials have their own modern spin on hybridizing metal and hardcore into a powerful new amalgam." Meanwhile, they hit the road with the likes of All That Remains, Wage War, Oceans Ate Alaska, Kublai Khan, and more. During 2021, Mitchell assumed full vocal duties for the band. After amassing tens of millions of streams and earning acclaim from Decibel, Revolver, and Alternative Press, to name a few, the band deliver controlled chaos like never before.
